Configuring Company Settings
Your company settings control how your business appears to customers and team members. This guide covers all the essential configurations to get your company profile set up correctly.
Accessing Company Settings
- Click Company in the main navigation
- Select Settings from the dropdown
- You'll see the settings sidebar with all categories

General Information
Basic Details
Set your core company information:
- Go to Settings → General
- Fill in the fields:
- Company Name - Your business name
- Company Slug - URL-friendly identifier
- Description - Brief business description
- Industry - Select your business type

Contact Information
Add how customers can reach you:
- Email - Primary business email
- Phone - Main phone number
- Website - Your company website URL

Business Address
Enter your physical location:
- Go to Settings → Address
- Enter your full address
- The map preview updates automatically
- This appears on your booking page and customer communications

Branding & Appearance
Company Logo
Upload your logo for brand consistency:
- Go to Settings → Branding
- Click Upload Logo
- Select an image (recommended: 512x512px, PNG or JPG)
- Crop if needed
- Click Save

Your logo appears in:
- Dashboard header
- Public booking page
- Customer emails
- Service job QR codes
Company Avatar
For smaller displays, set a square avatar:
- Click Upload Avatar
- Choose a simple, recognizable image
- This appears in compact views and notifications

Brand Color
Set your primary brand color:
- Click the Color Picker
- Enter your hex code or select visually
- This color applies to buttons and accents on your booking page

Operating Hours
Define when your business is open:
- Go to Settings → Operating Hours
- For each day of the week:
- Toggle the day on/off
- Set opening time
- Set closing time
- Add breaks if applicable
- Click Save Changes

Multiple Time Blocks
For split schedules (e.g., closed for lunch):
- Click Add Time Block on any day
- Set the additional hours
- Hours are combined on your booking page
Example:
- Morning: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
- Afternoon: 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM

Holiday Hours
Set special hours for holidays:
- Go to Settings → Special Hours
- Click Add Special Date
- Select the date
- Choose: Closed, or set custom hours
- Add a note (optional)

Timezone & Locale
Timezone
Ensure correct scheduling:
- Go to Settings → Regional
- Select your Timezone
- All times display in this timezone
- Affects booking slots and reminders

Currency
Set your business currency:
- Select Currency from the dropdown
- Affects all price displays
- Used in invoices and reports

Date/Time Format
Choose display preferences:
- Date Format - DD/MM/YYYY or MM/DD/YYYY
- Time Format - 12-hour or 24-hour

Notification Preferences
Control what notifications your company sends:
- Go to Settings → Notifications
- Configure for each event type:
- Booking confirmations
- Appointment reminders
- Service job updates
- Team mentions

Advanced Settings
Company Slug
Your unique URL identifier:
- Used in booking page URL
- Used in public links
- Keep it short and memorable
- Lowercase letters, numbers, hyphens only
Example: abc-auto-care → hydra.app/book/abc-auto-care

Data Management
Access data options:
- Export Data - Download company data as CSV
- Clear Test Data - Remove demo/test entries
- Archive Company - Temporarily disable (preserves data)

Saving Changes
Changes save automatically in most sections. For forms:
- Make your changes
- Click Save Changes at the bottom
- A success message confirms the update

Tips
- Complete your profile - Filled profiles appear more professional
- Use high-quality images - Logos should be crisp at all sizes
- Keep hours updated - Outdated hours frustrate customers
- Review quarterly - Verify settings as your business evolves
