Public Kiosk & Queue Display

Hydra provides customer-facing screens for test drive registration and queue tracking. Set these up in your showroom to streamline the walk-in experience.

Registration Kiosk

The registration kiosk allows walk-in customers to join the test drive queue themselves.

Access URLs

Via Company Subdomain:

Registration Flow

  1. Welcome Screen - Shows your company branding
  2. Customer Details - Name, phone, email (optional)
  3. License Information - Driver's license number (if required)
  4. Vehicle Selection - Choose specific vehicle or "Any Available"
  5. Confirmation - QR code/link to track their position

Customer Tracking Page

After registering, customers receive a tracking link:

https://your-company.marketdragon.ph/test-drive/track/{token}

This page shows:

  • Their current position in queue
  • Estimated wait time
  • Status timeline (Joined → Called → Test Drive → Complete)
  • Vehicle they requested
  • Option to cancel their spot

Kiosk Setup Tips

  • Use a tablet or touchscreen display
  • Enable kiosk mode in the browser (full-screen, no URL bar)
  • Ensure stable internet connection
  • Position near the showroom entrance
  • Consider a staff member nearby for assistance

Queue Display

The queue display shows current test drive activity on a large screen in your waiting area.

Now Serving

Shows the customer currently being served:

  • Customer name (first name + last initial for privacy)
  • Vehicle they're test driving
  • Large, visible format

Next Up

Displays who's next in line:

  • Customer name
  • Vehicle preference
  • Estimated wait time

Waiting List

Shows queue positions:

  • Position numbers
  • Customer names (first name + last initial)
  • Vehicle preferences

Available Vehicles

Shows vehicles ready for test drives:

  • Vehicle thumbnails
  • Year, make, model
  • Color

Footer

  • QR code to registration page
  • Current time
  • Company branding

Display Setup Tips

  • Use a large TV or monitor (50"+ recommended)
  • Mount where customers can easily see from seating area
  • Set browser to auto-refresh (built-in every 30 seconds)
  • Enable full-screen mode
  • Consider digital signage software for auto-start

In Company Settings

Navigate to Settings > Test Drives to configure:

Allow Walk-ins Enable/disable kiosk registration Yes

Per-Vehicle Settings

For each test drive vehicle:

  • Allow Test Drives - Include in test drive pool
  • Custom Duration - Override default duration
  • Special Instructions - Notes for staff

QR Codes for Print Materials

Generate QR codes linking to your registration page for:

  • Brochures and flyers
  • Vehicle window stickers
  • Table tents in waiting area

Sharing Links

Share your test drive registration link on:

  • Your website

Privacy Considerations

The public displays are designed with privacy in mind:

  • Only first name and last initial shown publicly
  • Full details only visible to authenticated staff
  • Customer tracking pages are token-protected
  • No personal contact information on queue display
